LEGO Power Functions allows a more "plug-and-play" nature of gadget design, giving students more time in the classroom to develop and test models.  Furthermore, these devices are perfect for students just entering the engineering field of motors and batteries, and have the potential to be used by any skill level, whether a beginner or LEGO Master!
